At the Cody-Pettit Gallery, you’ll see paintings, drawings and photographs arranged in “living spaces,” with fine furnishings and interesting objects. While the traditional model of the clean, white-walled gallery space certainly has its merit, we’ve chosen this somewhat less conventional way of exhibiting because we believe fine art is meant to be lived with. It’s our hope that visitors will make themselves at home, have a seat (we have lots of chairs), chat with friends, and take some time to enjoy the art and the space.
